GOOO VOLS!!

In honor of today's UT basketball game vs. Oklahoma State, I thought I would post a pair of earrings that I made back in the fall for some UT football games! They are a mix of round and square orange swarovskis, pearls, clear, and white stones around wire. I always got so many compliments on them, and they were perfect for anything I wore. Although I must warn you, they didn't bring very much luck last season, if you're superstitious! haha. Boy I hope they bring some luck today for the basketball team! The price for these earrings is 15 dollars, and if you aren't into all the orange, I can create any color scheme you choose. If you are interested in this item, please leave a comment below or email me at hrichards14@gmail.com. HAPPY FRIDAY! Enjoy your weekend!

My Favorite Ring.

I made this ring my sophomore year of college, three years, ago, and wore it every day until I graduated this past December and got a REAL pearl rock for graduation. It was my favorite. Sometimes it still feels wierd not to have it on my finger. I got compliments on it all the time, and I felt like it was my little secret because I didn't tell very many people that I made it...I always thought, little do they know that it is a cheap little ring that I made. haha! This ring is a swarovski pearl in the center of two swarovski crystals, with sterling silver beads around a stretchy wire. It is a great gift because it is pretty much one size fits all. You can choose any stone you want in the center, and it can also be created in gold. The price will vary depending on how you want it created, but the price for the item that is shown is 8 dollars...great deal! Set of Two #2

Okay so I have to admit that I didn't make this EXACT set, it was given to me as a bridesmaid gift by one of my best friends, Molly. I have made a couple of very similar pieces that I didn't remember to take any pictures of, so I thought this would be a good example to show to everyone! This is a gold chain (could be done in silver for a cheaper price) with a lighter brown stone and an almost mint green piece for a little color. If you look closely, there is gold wrapping around the larger brown stones. This is a great idea if you are a bride or know someone who is getting married, who is interested in making jewelry as a bridesmaid gift for their wedding party! The price is definitely negotiable for larger parties! The price for this item is as follows:
*Set of 2 (gold): 35 dollars
*Set of 2 (silver): 25 dollars
*Necklace only (gold): 20 dollars
*Necklace only (silver): 15 dollars
*Earrings only (gold): 15 dollars
*Earrings only (silver): 10 dollars

Will & JJ's "His & Her's" Wedding Shower

Wedding shower #2 for the weekend! Sunday nights shower consisted of a beautiful, Spring Sunday afternoon with Will and JJ (my old roomie) and 60 of their closest friends and family! It was one of the biggest showers I have ever been to, let alone helped host...but we pulled it off and everyone had a great time! It was a great time for everyone to come out of "hibernation" from winter and mid-terms and get to see familiar faces. I put up some pictures from the night that consisted of the happy couple, the fellowship, the NEWLYWED game, all the hostesses, and the old roommates with our new addition! Can't wait for April 18th when I get to stand beside these two as they tie the knot! Woo Hoo!!!

Jewelry galore!

Of all the art posts I have put on here, never once have I remembered all the jewelry I have made over the years....even when I posted a blog for an EARRING HOLDER! I am such a goof. On Friday night I went to a fashion show for ELLE, a boutique out in Farragut, and they had a trunk show for Diana Warners' jewelry collection, and it hit me then that I could put up some jewelry that I have created! SOOO....over the next few days, or weeks, I will be putting up some jewelry pieces including, earrings, necklaces, and rings! So don't forget to check back often to see what's new on the blog! These earrings are pink and orange, two of my favorite colors. Of course, I can do whatever colors you choose. I also have these in a pearl and brown combination that I will remember to put on here. The price for this item is 12 dollars. If you are interested in this item, please feel free to email me with any questions at hrichards14@gmail.com or leave a comment below on any item. I just figured out how to change the settings so anyone can leave a comment now! ENJOY!

Poolside

In our backyard area by the pool, my parents asked me to make them a couple of caution signs for when we had guests come over. These signs have been outside since they moved in almost 3 years ago, so they are a little "weathered", but I guess it gives them a little character! If you are interested in a sign that will point people in the right direction or would like to have a little decoration for your outdoor area, feel free to email me at hrichards14@gmail.com and we can work together to come up with something. Price will vary depending on the size of your sign, but the "slippery when wet" sign is 15 dollars, and the "watch your head" sign is 10 dollars.
